Summer 2026 Course Information

Registration for GAP Camp will begin on Monday, March 16th.

Tuition is $650. This price covers all instructional materials, teacher fees, data from optional pre- and post-assessments, recreational events, a camp t-shirt, and snacks. The only cost not included in the price of tuition is lunch. Campers are expected to bring their own lunch every day.

Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis and will take place on our online platform. We will be in contact with your official confirmation letter and information packet after your registration is complete. That packet will provide you with all of the details you'll need to know about camp prior to Day 1 of check-in.

Each camper will attend both the Mathematics and Reading/Language Arts courses. GAP is committed to strengthening campers' academic, emotional, and social development. More details on the different focus areas are in the infographic below.

Academic Development

The Reading/Language Arts course will cover TEKS including those of story elements, reading comprehension, basic grammar and mechanics, details in writing, and main idea.

The Mathematics course will cover TEKS and topics including place value, decimals, multiplication, division, and will integrate real-life word problems throughout.

Emotional Development

Students will be broken into small groups called STEAM Teams (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) where they will be challenged to solve intermediate school and STEAM-related tasks. These tasks are meant to strengthen students' grit and resilience while also teaching them new, 5th grade life skills (i.e. organizing a planner, opening locks).

Social Development

As a whole-group, students will experience fun and unique entertainment and recreational activities that are purposeful and intentional (including, but not limited to, a scavenger hunt, escape room, trivia, silent disco, etc.).

There, the students will have the opportunity to bond with other peers and build connections so they may see new, yet familiar faces walking around campus.
